Ever since I can remember I was either drawing cars or action figures, or I was building monuments with legos or lincoln logs. Growing up with a problem-solving mindset led me to fields like engineering and architecture, but as a senior in high school I learned about Industrial Design. I was instantly enamored with the beautiful sketches and unique solutions to problems I wouldn’t have even begun to be able to solve. I knew from that moment that this is what I needed to do with my life. The KU school of Industrial Design has helped me grow into the designer I dreamed of being. In the future I hope to design consumer electronics or furniture.
